This is a small, conical-shaped, stoneware vase. Using the marbling method, blue-green and dark brown clay were attached together to form a single lump and then thrown on a potter's wheel, resulting in this pattern of swirling blends of each color.
The unglazed finish and silky, sandstone-like matte texture give this pottery a contemporary look, and it is recommended for decorating bookshelves and other small spaces.

Those almost works are unglazed finish, but they are fired at a high temperature to tighten the base, so beverages such as coffee and tea do not stain. However, red wine can soak into the white base and may stain it. For more information on how to prevent and remove stains, please check the special booklet included with the order of white-colored pieces.
