This is a teacup made by folding thinly stretched porcelain clay like paper, featuring a remarkable design combined with practicality.

The neat impression of the blue check pattern, created using the Nerikomi technique, makes it look as if a paper cup folded in childhood origami has been transformed into tableware.

Despite its small size, it can hold up to 100ml (3.3 fl oz) of beverage, perfect for enjoying a double shot of espresso or a cup of English tea. When used to serve coffee or tea to your guests, it can create an impressive tea time.

We recommend getting the Tea Plate with the same design as a set.

If you are looking for a set of the cup and plate, this bundle is a great option.

  • Dry Storing: Avoid storing ceramics in a damp or humid environment in long term, as it can cause mold to the piece.
